Base Salary
$121k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS, TypeScript, and Python.
- Translate business requirements into technical architecture and design documentation.
- Make system architecture decisions involving monolith versus microservices, database design, and API strategy.
- Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tooling for scaffolding, testing, refactoring, and documentation.
- Design agentic engineering workflows for issue triage, code review assistance, pull request generation, and deployment scripting.
- Prototype AI automation for bug fixes, test generation, and dependency management.
- Establish prompt engineering standards and quality gates for AI-generated code.
- Support CI/CD pipeline development and production release strategies.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of full-stack development experience using ReactJS and TypeScript.
- Deep proficiency with TypeScript hooks, context, and state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
- Advanced TypeScript skills, including generics, decorators, and complex typing strategies, plus strong Python development experience.
- Expertise in REST and GraphQL API design, including versioning, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing distributed systems with SQL and NoSQL databases, event-driven architecture, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience integrating and directing AI agent-led coding workflows in production engineering environments.
- Strong command of modern HTML and CSS, responsive design, accessibility standards, and component libraries or design systems.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant technical discipline is beneficial.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience evaluating emerging AI coding capabilities and staying current with agentic AI developments is beneficial.
