Responsibilities
- Lead the design, build, deployment, and production support of scalable full-stack and AI-enabled applications.
- Develop frontend features, backend services, RESTful APIs, integrations, and cloud deployments using React or Angular and Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Build AI-enabled application capabilities involving LLM integration, RAG pipelines, agent orchestration, prompt and context design, and evaluation frameworks.
- Deploy applications on GCP using Vertex AI, Gemini API, Cloud Run, containerized applications, and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to cloud and solution architecture decisions focused on scalability, resiliency, performance, security, and client requirements.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Azure DevOps source control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead technical direction, review technical outputs, mentor team members, manage delivery risks, and coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in production incident resolution, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, agile planning, testing, observability, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field.
- At least 7 years of relevant application or software development experience, including leadership of technical teams, delivery workstreams, or complex client-facing initiatives.
- Strong hands-on full-stack development experience with React or Angular and Node.js, Python, or Java.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, backend integration patterns, and microservices-based applications.
- Hands-on GCP experience with Vertex AI, Gemini API, and Cloud Run.
- Hands-on AI and machine learning experience involving LLMs, prompt engineering, or specification-driven development.
- Experience integrating AI services or model APIs into frontend and backend applications.
- Experience with Kubernetes deployments and runtime concepts.
- Experience creating and maintaining Azure DevOps source control, work items, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to deliver end-to-end technical solutions, contribute to code and design reviews, and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- English proficiency is required for collaboration with multinational North American teams.
- Eligibility for Reliability Clearance, experience with Google ADK, MCP, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LLM evaluation frameworks, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Databricks, Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Dynatrace, SIEM, SRE practices, production operations, legacy modernization, or DevOps transformations is preferred.
Benefits
- Hourly base pay is listed at CAD $48.22 to $104.18 for roles located in British Columbia, Ontario, or New Brunswick.
- The role is a full-time position and is aligned to multinational teams across North America.
