Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using AI methods and tools throughout the software development process.
- Build enterprise Java applications using agentic development methods.
- Develop project environments including rule files, context documentation, MCP server configurations, and scaffolding to optimize AI collaboration.
- Review and validate AI-generated code, including its failure modes, hallucinations, and quality indicators.
- Mentor team members transitioning from traditional development to agentic workflows.
- Contribute to software development methodology and work directly with consulting customers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with the Java ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data, or alternatives such as Quarkus or Micronaut.
- Experience rebuilding development workflows around AI agents and using agentic feature-development tools such as Claude Code.
- Understanding of the distinction between autocomplete tools such as Copilot and agentic development.
- Strong knowledge of modern software architecture, including microservices, event-driven systems, domain-driven design, and CQRS.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in API design, comprehensive testing strategies, and build tools.
- Familiarity with databases and messaging systems.
- Comfort working in consulting or client-facing technical roles.
