Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions across a variety of customer projects.
- Build backend services, REST APIs, and integration layers using object-oriented design principles and established design patterns.
- Write readable, efficient, testable code and deliver thoroughly tested and debugged software.
- Contribute to code reviews, performance tuning, CI/CD practices, and improvements to engineering standards.
- Apply AI agent-based development methods and tools throughout the software development process.
- Work collaboratively across software engineering disciplines with German and South African clients.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline.
- At least five years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Spring, Kotlin, Maven, Gradle, and JUnit.
- Knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum or Design Thinking.
- Proactive, pragmatic, team-oriented approach with strong collaboration and communication skills.
