Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, and optimize scalable services and tools that address performance and monitoring needs.
- Develop DNS control-plane software, APIs, and full-stack applications while improving customer experience.
- Collaborate with networking and other teams to build products, services, and API contracts.
- Support existing products and contribute solutions to customer and product pain points.
- Improve tooling and development processes for robust, mission-critical systems.
- Help establish development and architecture best practices.
- Deploy and operate Linux-based virtual and bare-metal hosts.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing full-stack applications with databases and APIs.
- Experience leading work across multiple teams to build API contracts.
- Experience deploying and operating Linux-based virtual and bare-metal hosts, including Ubuntu systems.
- Experience with Go programming and unit testing.
- Some experience designing and developing high-performance systems.
- DNS and networking knowledge, or strong willingness to learn the domain.
- Experience with cloud development, containerization, and virtualization.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery.
- A bonus is experience using gRPC for robust distributed and high-demand systems.
- Working knowledge of Temporal and Kafka is a bonus.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or relevant equivalent experience.
