Base Salary
$115k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable microservices architecture and reusable, testable code.
- Build reusable frameworks and help ensure platform availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support across the software development lifecycle.
- Handle operational issues with little or no oversight.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards, patterns, and architecture principles.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of object-oriented development experience, including deep expertise building JVM microservices with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- At least 2 years of experience practicing and advocating clean-code principles and writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with Apache Solr or Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, GCP or AWS, and Python data pipelines.
- Preferred: familiarity with LLM applications in generative and agentic use cases, ADK, Gemini models, and Arize AI agent monitoring tools.
- Preferred: experience implementing large-scale eCommerce Search and Discovery capabilities and using AI-assisted development tools.
