Responsibilities
- Partner with Integration Consultants to understand client integration requirements and business processes.
- Design, develop, and implement customized integration solutions using APIs, connectors, and data transformation techniques.
- Provide technical integration guidance and support to Integration Consultants and clients, including advice on Open REST APIs.
- Collaborate with MaintainX Engineering and Product teams to prioritize customer integration requirements.
- Ensure integration solution reliability, security, and performance through testing and quality assurance.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, code documentation, progress reports, and other technical documentation.
- Communicate project status and technical details to internal teams and clients.
- Debug and troubleshoot integration issues and provide ongoing technical support to clients.
- Coordinate with Integration Consultants, project management, and other stakeholders on project delivery, planning, scoping, and timelines.
Requirements
- At least three years of software development experience, including potentially solutions architecture, software engineering, or software development roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, APIs, middleware platforms, and data transformation.
- Ability to organize and consolidate customer data from varied formats and source applications.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, critical-thinking, communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
- Bonus experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or Sage Intacct.
- Bonus experience in manufacturing, IoT sensors, historians, SCADA, PLCs, Industry 4.0 technologies, Workato, Tray.io, or Zapier.
