Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code for Azure data processing and analytics workloads.
- Develop and manage Azure DevOps deployment pipelines for Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks resources.
- Build and orchestrate scalable data workflows and integration pipelines across cloud environments.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
- Maintain high availability, security, and performance of data platform components.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and security teams on infrastructure, business, and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and implement monitoring, logging, alerting, reliability, and observability capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering focused on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong production experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps deployment pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and cost optimization strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and proactive working skills.
