Responsibilities
- Develop tooling for engineering teams to easily consume datacenter compute.
- Build services for provisioning and managing virtual machines on bare metal.
- Provide compute support for pipeline runs and automated testing.
- Expose datacenter capacity for internal workloads on demand.
- Automate the full host lifecycle as code.
- Improve reliability and performance of the virtualization layer.
- Contribute to initiatives like Automated Sign-Off and performance testing.
- Standardize software development practices across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a software engineering role with mainstream languages.
- Experience with Linux and scripting.
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and data structures.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like QEMU/KVM or VMware.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.
