Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and continuously improve scalable production AI agents.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and ongoing iteration.
- Partner directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand business challenges and build solutions.
- Develop agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, voice-model integrations, and other AI agent platform features.
- Use customer feedback to prototype tools and shape Sierra’s core platform with research, product, and platform teams.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder’s mindset, high agency, and ability to ship creative solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred: experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred: experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Preferred: prior customer-facing experience or experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
