Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering support to Qualcomm IVI and ADAS automotive customers.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address customer requirements and resolve reported issues.
- Support customer issues in laboratory environments, drive tests, and certification processes.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide structured feedback to engineering teams.
- Analyze graphics performance bottlenecks across QNX, Android, and hypervisor-based platforms.
- Develop and maintain debug scripts and automation tools for customer issue triage.
- Provide on-site or remote customer support to drive issue closure.
- Create skill documentation, knowledge bases, and internal triage guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electronics, computer science, or a related engineering discipline.
- The minimum qualifications also allow a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, a master's degree with 1+ year, or a PhD in a related field.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems or graphics engineering is listed for the position.
- Experience with Linux kernel device drivers, system stability, boot architecture, Android, QNX, and hypervisor-based platforms.
- Proficiency in C and C++, with working knowledge of Java and Python.
- Familiarity with GDB, ramdump or coredump analysis, and memory profiling tools.
- Preferred qualifications include GPU architecture, Graphics/DRM kernel drivers, functional safety and ISO 26262, SMMU/IOMMU, ECC fault handling, CTS/VTS, Vulkan conformance, Android graphics compliance, automotive multimedia pipelines, and customer-facing or field application engineering.
- At least one year of academic and/or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python and with debugging techniques is included in the minimum qualifications.
