Base Salary
$179k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and build greenfield products from inception through deployment.
- Design and implement scalable distributed microservices with an emphasis on robust backend architecture.
- Develop consumer experiences in partnership with Digital Product Managers and translate ambiguous needs into features.
- Work across JavaScript/TypeScript, cloud infrastructure, databases, and large-scale data pipelines.
- Participate in architectural design, code evaluations, hands-on coding, and technical strategy.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, design patterns, and technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years coding in multiple listed languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source contributions, frontend framework experience, API development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, mentoring, observability, AI coding tools, and technical initiative leadership.
