Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and participate in requirement grooming and estimation.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, quality engineers, and cross-functional teams to define test coverage.
- Create test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features, enhancements, and production support scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and other automation tools.
- Automate testing across UI, API, batch, and mobile channels.
- Perform SOAP and REST API testing using SOAP UI, Postman, or equivalent tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, accessibility, mobile, and microservices testing.
- Use SQL queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues.
- Track and analyze defects, support root cause analysis, and recommend quality improvements.
- Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and collaborate across geographies to support delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant testing and technical experience in a Quality Engineer, SDET, or test automation role.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation, API testing, automation script development, and enterprise automation frameworks.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Katalon, SOAP UI, Postman, and accessibility tools such as JAWS and Level Access.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Groovy, Shell, or Perl.
- Ability to write moderate to complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Jira, Maven, Git, Silk Central, BrowserStack, WinSCP, and PuTTY.
- Experience with SDLC, defect management, Agile/Scrum environments, and technical troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include CI/CD and Jenkins experience, AWS or other public cloud experience, penetration or performance testing, banking domain knowledge, and CSTE, CSQA, or ISTQB Advanced Level certification.
