Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modify complex or multiple software applications, components, and subsystems.
- Participate in architecture design teams and define and implement application-level architecture.
- Develop scalable, secure, cloud-ready enterprise web applications and integrate SOAP/REST web services.
- Recommend development testing tools and methodologies, review and validate test plans, and ensure QA readiness of deliverables.
- Create comprehensive documentation and establish lifecycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
- Plan and coordinate schedules and assignments, manage risks, and support delivery against project goals and budgets.
- Serve as a liaison with business units to resolve project and technology issues.
- Advise senior management on technical strategy and mentor junior team members.
- Perform complex technical and functional analysis and develop original solutions for multiple divisional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information System Security, or a closely related field, plus five years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree in one of these fields plus three years of relevant experience.
- Five or three years of experience, depending on degree level, designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable, secure, and cloud-ready enterprise web applications in the financial services domain.
- Experience with SDL Tridion, SOAP/REST web services, XMLSpy, Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, Servlets, JSP, OAuth, SAML, Apache Camel, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience creating automated client-side unit tests with Karma and Jasmine and Java/J2EE tests with JUnit and PowerMockito.
- Experience deploying applications with WebSphere and Tomcat in Unix and Windows environments.
- Experience using Eclipse, Spring Tool Suite, and WebStorm for application development and debugging.
- Demonstrated ability to perform architecture, technical analysis, project coordination, risk management, and technical leadership.
