Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable serverless application components with AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB for retail banking workflows.
- Develop secure Amazon S3 integrations for transaction data and customer documents.
- Build and manage Amazon Lex conversational interfaces and Amazon Connect contact flows for banking customer service.
- Configure Amazon CloudWatch monitoring, dashboards, metrics, alarms, logs, and traces.
- Translate retail banking requirements into technical solutions for account servicing, loan processing, and digital payments.
- Perform code reviews, testing, performance tuning, incident analysis, root-cause investigation, and remediation.
- Document application designs, data flows, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to AWS architecture improvements, automation, release planning, deployments, and rollback strategies.
- Apply secure coding practices and AWS identity and access controls to protect customer information and meet compliance expectations.
- Collaborate with product, operations, distributed development, and business stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
Requirements
- Practical hands-on experience designing and implementing applications with AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB, including event-driven patterns and financial data modeling.
- Strong proficiency with Amazon S3, including secure storage, versioning, lifecycle management, retention, and privacy controls.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Amazon CloudWatch metrics, dashboards, and alarms.
- Hands-on experience creating and managing Amazon Lex bots and Amazon Connect contact flows for customer service scenarios.
- Working knowledge of retail banking domains such as deposits, loans, and payments.
- Experience working in hybrid models with effective communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
- Preferred exposure to additional AWS services such as API Gateway and identity management.
- Familiarity with secure software development, continuous integration, and automated testing practices.
