Responsibilities
- Solve ambiguous business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
- Use object-oriented concepts, algorithms, and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale.
- Design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier systems handling large amounts of data.
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment while creating simple and extensible code.
- Build features and functionality for Fulfillment by Amazon seller inventory management and supply chain optimization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video game industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
