Base Salary

$119k - $187k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in developing standardized Internet network solutions.
  • Review, resolve, and implement solutions for complex technical issues involving large-scale network applications, data systems, voice services, and other technical products.
  • Create and use diagnostic, simulation, and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot, and restore systems or data.
  • Evaluate queries, extract data, create standard procedures, and perform limited programming to fine-tune supported systems.
  • Research performance trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Perform complex development-to-production migrations, upgrades, installations, and configurations.
  • Design and implement secure network solutions while addressing security and regulatory policies.
  • Assess production changes for risk and ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Identify technology process gaps and recommend changes to support service-level agreements.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Requirements

  • At least five years of combined network engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • At least five years of network automation experience.
  • At least five years of experience configuring Cisco and Arista routing and switching platforms and solutions.
  • At least five years of experience with Ansible, Go, Jinja, Python, REST, JSON, and YAML.
  • At least five years of experience with network management, automation, and orchestration tools such as Ansible.
  • Experience developing and testing standardized Internet network and security solutions is desired.
  • Experience creating and managing automated testing is desired.
  • Demonstrated expertise in BGP, IPSEC, VPN, PKI, and related technologies is desired.
  • Relevant certifications from Cisco, Arista, and cloud service providers are desired.
  • Experience with Agile, JIRA, Ansible Automation Platform, Git, Jenkins, Cisco DCNM, and Arista CVP is desired.
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment and maintaining technical standards is desired.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning are desired.
