Responsibilities
- Expand existing DevOps tools and processes to new software and firmware teams.
- Collaborate with multiple firmware and software teams.
- Communicate ideas and proposals clearly.
- Propose solutions based on team requirements and industry best practices.
- Implement continuous integration frameworks.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Design, deploy, maintain, and promote software DevOps tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- BSEE or BSCE required.
- 8+ years of industry experience in software, firmware, and/or DevOps.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and evangelizing software DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Good understanding of the Agile approach to software development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and technical presentation skills.
- Experience creating and maintaining virtual machines or containers using Docker or other tools is desired.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex architectures is desired.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps/MLOps, Jenkins, and build tools such as Make and CMake is desired.
- Proficiency in Python and knowledge of other scripting languages is desired.
