Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices for regulatory platform processes.
- Build frameworks that integrate with legacy and external systems.
- Perform hands-on coding using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, and related technologies.
- Write and maintain unit tests, performance tests, and high-quality application code.
- Respond quickly to business requirements and management requests.
- Design Java/J2EE and Oracle-based solutions.
- Work independently on complex medium- to large-scale projects and coordinate with global teams.
Requirements
- More than four years of experience in enterprise web application development using Java/J2EE and Oracle.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- Expertise in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, J2EE, Git, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML/XSL, JSON, and web services using REST APIs.
- Experience with mocking, unit testing, and performance testing.
- Basic Unix knowledge, including writing and understanding shell scripts and Unix commands.
- Strong Java/J2EE and Oracle solution design skills.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and handle complex projects.
- Financial markets or investment-domain experience is preferred.
- Akka and NoSQL knowledge are additional advantages.
- Willingness to work late in the evening India time when needed to coordinate with Europe-based teams and meet urgent client requests.
