Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance ML/AI models for Search and Recommendation.
- Process historical data, search queries, product catalogs, and images to extract features.
- Conduct research on cutting-edge ML techniques and create quick proofs of concept.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Senior Data Scientists to integrate ML components into production.
- Stay updated with the latest ML techniques through research and conferences.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field with strong mathematical foundation.
- 8+ years of experience in building scalable ML algorithms in corporate/startup environments.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLMs, with experience in GenAI stack preferred.
- Proficient in machine learning and natural language processing technologies.
- Excellent exploratory data analysis skills using SQL in Redshift/BigQuery.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills with adaptability to new ML technologies.
- Exposure to deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, Keras, or TensorFlow.
- Experience with Big Data in cloud-based environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
