Base Salary
$119k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Rust services, reusable modules, UI components, frameworks, and APIs for vehicle infotainment systems.
- Develop features supporting navigation, media, entertainment, phone, voice, and vehicle settings.
- Create proofs of concept for next-generation infotainment systems.
- Profile, analyze, and optimize application code and embedded software performance.
- Prepare and maintain software design, architecture, and API documentation.
- Participate in system design, testing, and software and hardware integration.
- Collaborate with software developers, test engineers, technical product managers, and technical leads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with Rust.
- At least 1 year of experience designing clear, scalable, flexible, versioned, and resilient APIs.
- Preferred: master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of C++17 experience, Python or Bash proficiency, embedded software performance optimization, and proficiency with Linux, macOS, and Git.
- Preferred: experience with pair programming and API design.
