Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java backend services, platform components, middleware systems, APIs, distributed services, and cloud-native applications.
- Own features across design, development, testing, automation, deployment, release validation, and production support.
- Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end validation and build automated test suites using PyTest and Playwright.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, design reviews, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, code reviews, root cause analysis, and technical mentorship.
- Troubleshoot distributed-systems issues across services, databases, messaging systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Strong Java programming skills and knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, concurrency, and system design.
- Experience building REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and unit, integration, and API-level automated tests.
- Experience with automation and validation tools such as PyTest, JUnit, Rest Assured, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, container registries, and CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
- Experience with Docker Hub, OpenShift, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Strong understanding of databases, SQL optimization, and data modeling, with exposure to Cassandra, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, scalability, resiliency, observability, and production-grade system-design skills.
- Preferred experience in SaaS, cloud security, or enterprise platforms; performance engineering and observability experience is also preferred.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, MCP integrations, agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, AI-powered developer tooling, LLM-based automation, and SRE concepts is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
