Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support secure, highly available AWS infrastructure for production and development environments.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain Infrastructure as Code standards.
- Operate and optimize Amazon EKS and Kubernetes platforms for containerized applications.
- Build hardened Amazon Linux and Ubuntu images using HashiCorp Packer.
- Automate provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and related pipelines.
- Implement AWS security practices involving IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor platform health, availability, and performance with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and infrastructure issues while participating in on-call support.
- Develop infrastructure automation and tooling using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and runbooks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Experience developing reusable Terraform modules and managing enterprise Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong experience building and operating Amazon EKS or Kubernetes platforms.
- Strong experience administering Amazon Linux and Ubuntu Linux.
- Experience building machine images with HashiCorp Packer.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of AWS networking, IAM, VPCs, load balancing, Route 53, storage, and security practices.
- Experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
