Responsibilities

  • Perform Site Reliability Engineering projects that improve service performance and reliability.
  • Design and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure programs and projects with Development, SRE, and SRE leadership partners.
  • Participate as a full member of the Colossus SRE on-call rotation and support Colossus at global scale.
  • Drive the technical direction of the Colossus SRE team.
  • Shape team culture and goals while advocating for SRE best practices.
  • Provide system analysis and design, automation, tooling, and customer consultation for scalable storage infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • Three years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Two years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
