Responsibilities
- Own the performance, availability, capacity, throughput, and overall reliability of production infrastructure.
- Strengthen the robustness of deployment pipelines and automate artifact deployment across all environments.
- Drive incident response, resolution, issue avoidance, and infrastructure growth and stability.
- Incorporate reliability considerations into the product roadmap and coordinate prioritization or resolution of critical bugs.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, support, sales engineers, solution architects, and security teams.
- Monitor infrastructure vulnerabilities and work with the security team to remediate them.
Requirements
- Expertise with managed Kubernetes services, specifically EKS, AKS, and GKE.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Terraform, Ansible, Buildkite, Pulumi, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with Python and Shell scripting and Go; Java experience is a bonus.
- Experience with Linux operating system internals and administration.
- Experience with cloud networking, including site-to-site VPNs, Privatelinks, and Private Service Connect.
- Experience using AI tools for code review, automation, incident analysis, documentation, and reducing operational toil.
- 5+ years of experience working with SaaS products at scale is listed as a bonus qualification.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL is a bonus qualification.
