Responsibilities
- Partner with national security and intelligence customers to understand mission objectives and translate them into technical concepts and solution designs.
- Design, develop, and deploy secure solutions using Microsoft cloud, AI, and security platforms, including custom applications, data pipelines, and system integrations.
- Move solutions rapidly from concept to prototype to production and iterate with customer stakeholders to drive adoption.
- Apply secure-by-design principles covering Zero Trust architecture, identity and access, data protection, compliance, monitoring, hardening, and reliability.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor while balancing mission urgency with security, compliance, and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with Microsoft product and engineering teams to translate field insights into platform and service improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong and proven experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting.
- Strong Python engineering skills and recent experience with machine learning and large language models.
- Experience delivering AI, data, or analytics solutions in production is preferred.
- Experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, SQL databases, Pandas, NumPy, React, Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with government, intelligence, national security, restricted, regulated, or classified environments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for briefing technical and non-technical stakeholders in high-pressure settings.
- Ability to pass Microsoft background checks and customer or government security-clearance requirements, including enhanced DVe vetting; must be a British citizen currently living in the UK.
