Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end AI-powered product experiences spanning data pipelines, backend services, and user interfaces.
- Build and evolve customer-facing dashboards and applications for interpreting and acting on logistics data.
- Develop software for web, mobile, and kiosk interfaces deployed on Kargo Towers and forklifts.
- Collaborate with Product, Solution Engineers, and customer stakeholders on Kargo’s agentic AI product suite.
- Improve the stability, scalability, and measurability of backend systems.
- Build and ship modern web applications and APIs while owning features across the full stack.
- Work with production infrastructure and observability systems, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and distributed-system debugging.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building products at scale.
- Strong experience with TypeScript and Python.
- Experience building and shipping enterprise or consumer-facing products and translating product needs into technical requirements.
- Experience working cross-functionally and directly with customer stakeholders.
- Experience building modern web applications and APIs across the full stack.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and fault-tolerant system design.
- Experience with production infrastructure and observability, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging distributed systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
