Responsibilities
- Drive software and hardware architecture decisions for scalable AI infrastructure based on customer and business requirements.
- Optimize hardware and software configurations for datacenter performance and efficiency.
- Develop and integrate enterprise AI infrastructure solution architectures with external partners.
- Work with customers and partners to optimize AI training and inferencing workloads and influence future products.
- Create implementation plans and documentation for AI solutions.
- Maintain multi-year roadmaps, evaluate feature trade-offs, and lead technology reviews.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical development issues and generate intellectual property, including invention disclosures.
- Travel 20%–30% to assess customer requirements and develop technical blueprints.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of open-source and commercial AI workflow applications and their implications across compute, networking, and storage.
- Experience with enterprise cluster deployments and AI training and inferencing workflows.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, including CPUs, accelerators, networking, storage, and benchmarking methodologies.
- Ability to advise on model selection, architectural trade-offs, customer outcomes, and business needs.
- Experience identifying, developing, and communicating differentiated technology opportunities to technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science or Data Science, or equivalent experience.
