Base Salary
$172k - $301k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and ship production-grade multi-agent systems with orchestration, tool use, planning loops, memory, and failure recovery.
- Build agents grounded in Access Graph, Access Reviews, permission data, and risk data for enterprise identity-security decisions.
- Own observability, human-in-the-loop controls, compliance infrastructure, and other safety guardrails for autonomous systems.
- Develop retrieval and grounding capabilities including RAG pipelines, semantic search, re-ranking, and evaluation.
- Integrate frontier models and evaluate production trade-offs across cost, latency, and capability.
- Lead architecture decisions, code reviews, coaching, and technical practices for production AI engineering.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with strong data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience designing, shipping, and operating production agentic systems, including multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, planning loops, memory, and failure recovery.
- Production-grade Python experience; Go, Java, or C++ systems-language experience is a plus.
- Working experience with Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI AI SDKs, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, and production model evaluation.
- Experience with production RAG and retrieval patterns, vector stores, hybrid search, and retrieval evaluation metrics.
- Track record of technical leadership through architecture ownership, code-quality improvement, and mentoring engineers on production AI practices.
- Preferred qualifications include search and retrieval at scale, MLOps or model observability, published or open-source agentic-systems or retrieval work, and production LLM fine-tuning or inference optimization.

- Base pay is $171,900-$300,800, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive compensation, and benefits.
