Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Write unit and component tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent technologies.
- Contribute to front-end solution design, component architecture, development standards, reusable components, and shared libraries.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering improvements while resolving performance, stability, and maintainability issues.
- Collaborate with back-end engineers, UX/design, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and troubleshoot production issues.
- Own assigned components and features from design through production delivery and support, and share technical knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Strong software development experience with substantial front-end and web application development experience, particularly with React and modern React practices.
- Understanding of React Hooks, component design, reusable development patterns, client-side architecture, and common front-end design patterns.
- Strong experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library or similar testing frameworks, CI/CD, and modern build and package-management tooling.
- Ability to develop well-tested, maintainable, and performant software with awareness of secure web-development practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments, including use of tools such as Jira.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
