Responsibilities
- Build high-performance, real-time micro-frontends and UI components for rates and credit trading workflows.
- Design client-side solutions involving APIs, WebSocket streams, JSON, Protocol Buffers, and state management.
- Work with traders and business stakeholders to translate complex financial workflows into effective user interfaces.
- Promote front-end architecture, performance optimization, testing, code review, and modern build practices.
- Modernize legacy desktop and web interfaces and influence the broader UI/UX strategy.
- Collaborate with back-end engineers and use Java, Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL knowledge to resolve integration issues when needed.
Requirements
- Proven expertise building complex, high-performance web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Deep knowledge of component lifecycles, advanced state management, browser rendering performance, and memory profiling.
- Experience configuring modern build pipelines and developer tooling with Vite, Nx, and modern package managers.
- Hands-on experience building low-latency, event-driven interfaces using WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, and reactive programming such as RxJS.
- Experience with front-end unit testing using Jest or Vitest and end-to-end testing with Playwright.
- Understanding of distributed, event-driven back-end architectures such as Solace, Kafka, or RabbitMQ and streaming API contracts.
- Nice-to-have experience deploying front-end applications with Docker and Kubernetes, plus working knowledge of Java and SQL schemas.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
