Responsibilities
- Develop agentic AI interfaces and AI-driven workflows tailored to database professionals.
- Design, build, and operate scalable, resilient, secure, simple, and maintainable software systems.
- Lead complex engineering work and cross-team engineering initiatives, breaking down ambiguity into clear delivery.
- Shape engineering practices, technical approaches, and product-level technical strategy with the Architect.
- Participate in team leadership and goal-setting alongside the Tech Lead and Product Manager.
- Coach, mentor, and develop other engineers through role modelling and support.
- Understand customer problems and prioritize work based on customer impact.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and operating scalable, resilient, and secure software systems.
- Proven experience leading complex engineering work and collaborating across teams.
- Proficiency in modern .NET/C#, Python, or TypeScript, with expertise in at least one.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical decisions clearly to varied audiences.
- Evidence of coaching, mentoring, and developing other engineers.
- Commitment to simplicity, maintainability, engineering quality, and team growth.
