Responsibilities
- Execute the architectural vision for complex IT systems and major architecture projects.
- Ensure system architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints and develop technology roadmaps.
- Design and develop components or overall systems, including greenfield applications and modernization of existing applications.
- Translate complex business problems into sound technical solutions and recommend innovative technologies.
- Design, develop, and secure APIs and support containerized application architecture and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership, advice, counsel, and mentorship to junior team members.
- Assess technology and business risks while adhering to applicable laws, policies, and controls.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise designing greenfield applications and modernizing existing applications using microservices-based architecture.
- Proven experience in API design, development, and security implementation.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Couchbase, Redis, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of containerized application architecture and deployment.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree may be preferred.
- Financial services experience is preferred and considered a strong advantage.
- Ability to manage and prioritize work across multiple projects, communicate clearly, build working relationships, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and learn new tasks quickly.
