Responsibilities
- Design and develop code and data pipelines for relational databases, file shares, web services, and streaming ingestion sources.
- Build and optimize AWS S3 data lakes through partitioning and compression.
- Develop data engineering and analytics solutions using AWS Glue, Informatica, EMR, Spark, Athena, and Python.
- Model data and build data warehouses using Snowflake.
- Develop JavaScript modules and REST APIs using MarkLogic and integrate MarkLogic with enterprise platforms.
- Participate in requirements definition, system architecture, data architecture, and the full software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related field is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in enterprise information solution architecture, design, and development is required.
- At least 7 years of experience with integration architectures or technologies such as ETL is required.
- At least 7 years of experience with content or knowledge management systems, search engines, relational or NoSQL databases, ETL tools, geospatial systems, or semantic technology.
- At least 5 years of hands-on MarkLogic experience and at least 5 years of hands-on AWS services experience are required.
- At least 5 years of experience in analytics tools such as SAS, R, and Python, and at least 5 years of web development experience with Angular, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- At least 5 years of experience in data ingestion, data extraction, and data integration is required.
- Experience with JSON or XML data modeling, Git/GitHub, relational and NoSQL databases, database architecture, and performance implications is required.
- Experience integrating business intelligence applications such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred or required as applicable.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, plus extensive knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and Java, is expected.
