Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mobile application testing efforts.
- Define test strategies and write comprehensive test plans.
- Execute manual and automated tests across various scenarios.
- Partner with SDETs to identify automation opportunities.
- Support triaging application issues and validating fixes.
- File clear, actionable defects and drive them through resolution.
- Validate mobile interactions with backend services through API testing.
- Drive quality improvements by identifying testing gaps.
- Review and validate automated test coverage for CI/CD integration.
- Collaborate in an agile, distributed environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Significant hands-on experience testing iOS mobile applications.
- Strong experience defining test strategies and executing testing.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium.
- Familiarity with Python-based automation.
- Understanding of mobile application release lifecycle.
- Experience with cloud testing platforms like Sauce Labs.
- Basic programming or scripting experience, preferably in Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
