Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for designing, developing, and implementing banking and fintech solutions.
  • Lead development of document management and workflow capabilities covering document generation, capturing, archiving, and signing.
  • Ensure architectural best practices, technology standards, security, scalability, and performance requirements are followed.
  • Lead code reviews, technical discussions, mentoring sessions, and collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Establish and lead Communities of Practice for Software Engineering, QA and Test Automation, DevOps, and Cloud.
  • Develop engineering frameworks, guidelines, and accelerators and promote automation, CI/CD, cloud-native adoption, and shift-left testing.
  • Optimize deployment pipelines and support operational excellence and knowledge sharing with internal and external technology communities.

Requirements

  • Solid technical background in banking and fintech solutions with hands-on software development and architecture experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, API development, and event-driven systems.
  • Strong leadership experience guiding teams to successful outcomes.
  • Experience with document management services using SharePoint Online and/or AWS is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of key regulations affecting the finance sector.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is required for pan-Baltic collaboration.
