Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript and React with a focus on user experience.
- Design and implement backend systems handling terabytes of client data and millions of API requests.
- Own features from concept and deployment through ongoing operation, reliability, and security.
- Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
- Mentor junior engineers and improve code quality through constructive code reviews.
- Synchronize and index large client datasets while managing fine-grained permissions.
- Operate and optimize systems processing millions of LLM calls per month.
- Architect environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes per day.
- Build infrastructure that enables a custom integrations team to onboard new systems quickly.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience in production environments.
- Strong hands-on production experience with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- Solid backend engineering skills, including Python, tRPC, or comparable technologies.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed high-throughput services.
- Experience building scalable, reliable, and secure backend services handling high data or API volumes.
- Demonstrated full-stack application development experience with substantial frontend and backend contributions.
- Strong product ownership mindset with attention to user experience and long-term product success.
- Experience integrating AI services or genuine interest in AI-integrated platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and take on ownership quickly.
- Currently based in Munich.
Benefits
- Salary range of 60,000 to 80,000 EUR annually.
- Hybrid work arrangement in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
