Responsibilities
- Develop distributed, scalable, high-performance containerized microservice applications.
- Ensure high-quality software design and code.
- Build performance-testing and performance-engineering frameworks.
- Monitor production issues, ensure engineering teams follow SLAs, and troubleshoot issues with support teams and SREs.
- Provide workarounds, quick fixes, production hot fixes, and patches using software development skills.
- Develop application automation and REST API-based web applications.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise-class solutions using Java.
- Strong experience in application development and automation.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and/or NoSQL databases, preferably Cassandra.
- Professional experience with Elasticsearch and caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and application design.
- Experience developing microservices deployed as containers.
- Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and customer problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Additional desired experience with FIM, container security, compliance, Kafka event streaming, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
