Base Salary
$135k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build small- and medium-scale data pipelines and data products for Sales and Underwriting data.
- Deliver end-to-end ELT solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Influence solution architecture and make technology recommendations for tools and frameworks.
- Design, implement, test, and optimize cloud and hybrid data architectures and processing pipelines.
- Develop data cleansing and quality solutions for complex data sets.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery capabilities aligned with Enterprise DevOps practices.
- Guide data engineering practices, pipeline tool decisions, documentation, and operating procedures.
- Research and apply big data methodologies, data mining, and data science algorithms.
- Support project and portfolio strategy, roadmaps, and implementation.
- Contribute to team development, mentoring, and technical influence across teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of data engineering experience.
- Experience with distributed systems, data warehousing, SQL and NoSQL solutions, ETL tools, big data, cloud technologies, Python, Spark, data mesh, data lakes, and data fabric.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Oracle, Informatica Cloud or PowerCenter, and GitHub.
- Hands-on experience with replication tools such as Qlik, Informatica Mass Ingestion, SharePlex, OpenFlow, and DMS.
- Experience with PySpark, Python, and Snowflake-native ETL capabilities.
- Familiarity with AWS services including EMR, S3, and Lambda.
- Cloud-services certifications such as AWS or GCP and Snowflake certifications are listed qualifications.
- Familiarity with AI tools and technology stacks.
- Preferred qualifications include AI foundation certifications and hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
