Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Execute and analyze automated test results, reporting issues and defects.
- Coordinate with manual testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Implement test automation best practices and improve QA processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with developers to support timely defect resolution.
- Stay current with test automation tools and industry practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or a similar field, or equivalent working experience.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Playwright, Appium, or similar automated testing tools.
- Proven Java automation testing experience for web applications and APIs.
- Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Experience with Git and Maven.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or similar continuous integration and delivery tools.
- Ability to analyze log files and resolve defects with developers.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent is desirable.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile is essential.
- Good spoken English.
