Responsibilities
- Translate Cloud Architect decisions into practical, scalable implementations across product teams.
- Drive operationalization, standardization, and continuous improvement of cloud maturity initiatives across Azure infrastructure, platform services, and deployment processes.
- Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure workloads for reliability, performance, and security.
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows for repeatable cloud operations.
- Participate in architectural design and review sessions with implementation-focused feedback.
- Research, prototype, and validate operational improvements, tooling, and practices.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
- Bridge infrastructure and product team discussions and solve complex technical problems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a recent or current Cloud Engineer role using Microsoft Azure in production environments.
- Mandatory AZ-104 certification.
- Strong practical experience with Azure networking, App Services, storage, databases, DNS, compute services, Azure Monitoring/KQL, and containerization, preferably AKS.
- Experience with Azure identity and security concepts, services, and tooling.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience, including planning, design, and troubleshooting; Azure Bicep is preferred.
- Strong PowerShell and/or Bash scripting skills and effective use of Azure CLI tools.
- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, troubleshooting, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Familiarity with Azure governance frameworks and advanced identity and security management practices is a plus.
- Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools and familiarity with software development for proof-of-concept or research activities are a plus.
