Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop solutions to mitigate and resolve them.
- Collaborate with teams across UiPath to design and engineer product and service areas.
- Help establish effective engineering practices.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Address challenges related to infrastructure scaling, high availability, and performance.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in software engineering using one or more high-level programming languages such as C# or Java.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and its ecosystem.
- Experience working with cloud systems, preferably Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns.
- Very good understanding of multithreading, synchronization, TPL, and asynchronous programming.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and time and memory complexity.
- Ability to understand the role of engineering within overall business strategy and help drive project decisions.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams, planning feature development, designing system components, and building engineering roadmaps.
- Hands-on experience with C# or related frameworks is preferred.
