Responsibilities
- Design and enhance automation frameworks using tools like Playwright and Cypress.
- Write clean, maintainable automated test suites for web and API services.
- Integrate automated tests into Git-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Execute and manage functional, regression, and performance tests.
- Participate in requirement reviews to define test scenarios and ensure coverage.
- Perform root cause analysis of failures and collaborate with teams to resolve defects.
- Maintain test data and build specialized tooling to improve QA efficiency.
- Document test plans and contribute to QA process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation for backend services.
- Strong experience with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is required.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and automated API testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with microservices and cloud platforms is a plus.
