Responsibilities
- Own the full on-premise product lifecycle from investigation and implementation through building and customer delivery.
- Maintain and improve project stability, security, reliability, dependencies, standards, and protocols.
- Support on-premise customers migrating to the cloud-based Celonis Platform.
- Improve and automate development processes.
- Mentor and support teammates while contributing to an inclusive engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Experience working in geographically distributed environments.
- Ability to address enterprise challenges involving security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency.
- Strong programming, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution skills.
- Experience with microservices-based distributed systems and complex data structures and algorithms in data management.
- Highly desired: experience with AI-powered IDEs, code-generation tools, Windows and Linux administration, standard system tools and commands, permissions management, debugging, profiling, and application or system logs.
