Base Salary
$98k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and deploy software capabilities addressing challenges for government sponsors.
- Participate in the full software engineering lifecycle using modern technologies and software engineering practices.
- Contribute to software architecture and engineering activities across diverse mission-focused projects.
- Apply full-stack development, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, embedded systems, user-centered design, and AI-enabled software approaches as applicable.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate user interface and user experience design ideas.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues while working independently when required.
- Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field plus two years of related experience, or a relevant master’s degree with applied experience.
- Experience developing software in at least one modern programming language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C/C++, C#, Python, Go, or Rust.
- Working knowledge of software development practices and the software lifecycle, including exposure to DevSecOps.
- Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, automated security, and automated testing practices.
- Experience with software development tools and frameworks, including source control tools such as Git.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, D3, and one or more frameworks or libraries such as Angular, Vue, or React.
- Experience using wireframing and design tools for user interface and user experience development.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens to be eligible for a security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced technical degree, active clearance, cloud-provider familiarity, database knowledge, generative pretrained and large language model knowledge, user-centric engineering experience, and full-stack or DevSecOps application development experience.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication, collaboration, and independent-working abilities.
