Base Salary
$155k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex mainframe solution architectures, impact assessments, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure solution integrity across CICS, IMS, DB2, z/OS, and hybrid cloud connectivity environments.
- Lead client engagement, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and communication with technical and business leaders.
- Maintain client solution roadmaps and lead project scoping, estimation, implementation oversight, and risk mitigation.
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, thought leadership, and best-practice guidance to Solution Architects and internal teams.
- Ensure solutions meet functional, technical, regulatory, governance, and service-level requirements.
- Lead pre-sales and account-expansion activities and contribute to process improvement and solution standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in technical roles, including at least 3 years in architecture or senior technical leadership roles.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with mainframe platforms including z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, or equivalent technologies.
- At least 5 years of experience in external client-facing environments managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- At least 5 years of experience with change management procedures and enterprise solution governance.
- At least 6 years of Ensono experience or equivalent experience with a mainframe managed service provider or systems integrator.
- Demonstrated expertise in mainframe modernization, cloud-to-mainframe integration, or hybrid mainframe architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Ensono Delivery Methodology, Solution Center Framework, mainframe services, estimation tools, and methodologies.
- Ability to lead scoping, estimation, and pre-sales activities.
- Preferred qualifications include mainframe security and compliance experience, knowledge of mainframe DevOps, container technologies, or API-first architecture, cloud or mainframe certifications, and experience leading migrations or platform consolidations.
