Software Engineer - Devops

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external services.
- Deploy and manage backend applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi.
- Build, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
- Implement GitOps deployment strategies using Argo CD.
- Automate infrastructure and operational tasks with Bash shell scripting.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver software.
- Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and availability across environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–5 years of experience in DevOps and Python backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, Pulumi, GCP, Argo CD, and GitOps.
- Experience with Linux environments, REST APIs, and backend architecture.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application deployment and microservices.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud monitoring and logging.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
