Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical delivery outcomes and serve as the single point of accountability for technical execution.
- Coordinate data architects, data engineering teams, contractors, and other specialists across multiple workstreams.
- Define technical specifications, data models, KPI formulas, field requirements, cleansing rules, derivations, and edge cases.
- Evaluate internal and contractor deliverables for quality, completeness, and alignment with customer requirements.
- Document technical decisions, rationale, requirements, and evaluation criteria to support knowledge transfer and onboarding.
- Manage contractor assignments, review their work, coordinate multiple contractors, and escalate delivery risks.
- Travel up to 40% domestically and internationally to client business and factory sites for engagements and technical coordination sessions.
Requirements
- Strong technical background coordinating complex technical delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Ability to assess technical deliverables, identify quality gaps, manage ambiguity, and execute quick technical changes.
- Experience with modern data technologies, data engineering principles, and batch or streaming data processes.
- Clear communication with technical teams, non-technical stakeholders, and customers.
- Strong ownership, analytical, problem-solving, independent-work, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working with customers to understand and improve their processes.
- Preferred: manufacturing experience, manufacturing data science or analytics, contractor coordination, Azure-based data platforms, cloud infrastructure, Python, Java, Git, Pandas, R, SQL or NoSQL databases, and Six Sigma projects.
