Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual, functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
- Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test result reports.
- Develop and implement test automation using scripting languages, frameworks, and testing tools.
- Create defect reports, track issues through resolution, and communicate meaningful test updates to management.
- Gather and understand requirements, identify gaps and testing impediments, and forecast high-risk areas.
- Collaborate with development, business, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support project test phases.
- Drive automation initiatives and contribute to quality control processes and standards.
- Manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire and develop talent, and maintain collaborative relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- 4 to 6 years of software testing experience.
- Strong background in manual and functional QA testing.
- Expertise in scripting languages, logical implementations, test automation frameworks, and testing tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
- Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents, writing test cases, and gathering requirements.
- Experience with web services testing and formal software test design techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Exposure to security and performance testing is preferred.
- Experience with people management, conflict management, hiring, and talent development is preferred.
