Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Build serverless applications, Go-powered APIs, and low-latency data-streaming solutions for the Security Deposit Data Product.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional partners to deliver cloud-based solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify improvement opportunities, refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and improve performance.
- Mentor engineers and influence long-term technology strategy through evaluation of emerging tools and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and substantial database, cloud, API, frontend, open-source, infrastructure-as-code, testing, version-control, troubleshooting, observability, and technical leadership experience.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools and IDE copilots, interactive AI tooling, mentoring engineers, leading large-scale initiatives, and enforcing coding standards and design patterns.
